Skiing

Although Hotel Chalet Tianes isn't right on the ski lifts, it is perfectly situated close to South Tyrol's top ski resorts. The legendary Dolomiti Superski area, with its breathtaking Sellaronda circuit, is just 10 km away, accessible via Ortisei in Val Gardena. The idyllic Alpe di Siusi, Europe's largest mountain pasture, is about 8 km away and can be reached by taking the cable car from Siusi.
A public ski bus stops near the hotel to take you to the best slopes, and our private shuttle offers effortless transfers to the Alpe di Siusi and Val Gardena (Seceda). For a hassle-free holiday, we're happy to arrange ski hire. Enjoy the breathtaking slopes and winter scenery of the Dolomites - leave the logistics to us!

Monday, 9:00 am: Skiing on the 1970 World Cup slopes in Val Gardena
Tuesday, 9:00 am: Skiing on the Sellaronda (anticlockwise)
Wednesday, 8:30 am: Explore the Lagazuoi - 5 Torri (taxi costs extra)
Thursday, 9:00 am: Explore Belvedere - Sass Pordoi
Friday, 8:30 am: Conquer the Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites (taxi costs extra)

Cross-country skiing

The sunny Alpe di Siusi boasts around 80 km of perfectly groomed slopes at altitudes between 1,800 and 2,200 metres. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, there's something for everyone. As you glide through the wintry landscape, you can experience the impressive expanse of Europe's largest high alpine pasture and the majestic backdrop of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sassolungo, Sassopiatto and Sciliar seem close enough to touch, making every tour an unforgettable experience.

Tobogganing

On the picturesque Alpe di Siusi, surrounded by the idyllic villages of Castelrotto, Fiè and Tires, you will find a tobogganing paradise with ten different runs. From gentle runs for families to challenging descents, the Alpe di Siusi offers tobogganing fun for all tastes. A special highlight is night tobogganing, where you can enjoy a traditional dinner in a cosy mountain hut after an exciting descent.
