Wood carvings

The owner family of the Chalet Tianes, Family Piccolruaz, has it’s origin in Val Gardena Valley. This Valley is know all over the world not only for the beauty of its nature, but also for the wood carvings they are manufacturing and exporting around the world. The Senior chef Walter is a master of wood carving himself and has put much work into decorating the new Chalet Tianes, just like he once did at the Ansitz Jakoberhof. His work and talent are a great luck for the building as it give it a very personal note and makes you experience at the Chalet Tianes unique. Many rooms and most of the public areas are decorated with his wooden and stony art works, which you might not them all on first sight. So every time you walk through the hotel you might notice a now work of his and it’ll be a new experience.
